Is your business Indigenous owned?

Our Founder, Paula Tobey, is of Ojibwe and Pottawatomi descent and is a member of the Beausoleil First Nation, Thunder Clan.

Where can I purchase The Wild Native Collection (TM) products?

Products can be purchased through our online store, and at select retailers.

Do you offer Native Status Tax Exemptions? 

Yes. On or Off-reserve the tax exemption will apply to all of our Indigenous relatives no matter where they reside in Canada. There will be a tax exemption area in Checkout to add in your Native Status Identification Number to apply to your cart.

Self Care Product Information

Do your self care products expire? 

Hand & Body Balms: Unopened products stored in a cool area out of sunlight will last up to 2 years. 

Handmade Soaps: Our handmade soaps do not expire, however if left unused for long periods of time they can shrink and harden from moisture loss. 

Essential Oils: Do Not Expire

Are your Products suitable for all types of skin? 

Yes, but we do recommend testing on a small area if you have sensitive skin. 

How do I know if I am allergic to your products? 

Our products are made with natural ingredients, so they should not cause an allergic reaction, however everyone is different. Always consult with your doctor if you are unsure if a product is right for you. Please refer to the products information page for detailed lists of ingredients. If you experience rash, redness or discomfort after doing a test on a small area, please discontinue use and consult with your physician.

Are your products suitable for pregnant or nursing mothers? Or can they be used on small children under the ages of 5 years? 

Please always check with your physician before using essential oils on young children or babies, or while pregnant or nursing.

Can your products be used to treat any medical condition? 

The Wild Native Collection is not able to diagnose medical conditions. All information provided regardingany products efficacy is anectodal, has not been evaluated by Health Canada and simply comes from years of family testing. 

How can ensure that your product will work for me? 

Each product has a prescribed usage and should only be used as directed externally and never for internal usage.Be sure to always consult with a doctor to be know correctly if a product is right for you.

How do I store your products? 

Many of the butter ingredients used in the balms and lotion bars are liquid at high temperatures and can become melty if not stored correctly. Conversely products that contain coconut oil may harden in cold temperatures. All products are best used at room temperature out of direct sunlight.

Are your products tested on animals? 

No. The Wild Native Collectionis a family business, so all the products are family tested.

Where do you source your ingredients? 

Our ingredients are sourced from all around the world - but from Canada whenever possible. All our Wild crafted products contain plant materials that have been handpicked and chosen for their beauty, medicinal properties and at their peak harvest times using ethical and sustainable practices.

Are the materials used in your products natural or synthetic? 

The Wild Native Collection strives to use only the highest quality natural and sustainable materials in the creation of all its hand-crafted products.

Shipping & Return Policies 

Do you offer free shipping? 

We do not currently offer free shipping. Shipping rate is calculated at checkout.

Where does The Wild Native Collection (TM) ship to? 

We currently offer shipping in Canada only.

How long does it take to get my order? 

Orders will arrive within 5-7 business days. You’ll receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

What is your return policy? 

We have a “Satisfaction Guarantee” – if you are not happy with your product for any reason, we will happily issue a replacement or refund within 30 days of purchase. Please note that for exchanges or refunds, the customer is responsible for return shipping. If there is a problem with your item, please send photos of the product to sales@thewildnative.ca and we will replace or refund your order at our discretion.
